I was surprised at the high quality of the mobile tank dummies shown below. All three prototypes were developed in the North African campaign in 1942. These replicas are very realistic and deceptive. I assume they were costly to produce. The fourth and last photo is of a static dummy tank used on the eve of the main battle of El Alamein (late 1942). Ugly, tatty and less convincing...
